The Department of Physics and Electronics at Rhodes University cordially invites you to the 68th annual conference of the South African Institute of Physics to be held at Rhodes University, Makhanda (Grahamstown) from 1 to 5 July 2024.
SAIP2024 continues a long-established tradition of annual physics conference in the country.
The purpose of the meetings is to provide a forum for presentation of the latest developments in research in physics and in physics-related disciplines in South Africa. Work presented at the event is eligible, after peer-review, in a proceedings volume.
The 2024 conference will form part of the 120th anniversary celebration of Rhodes University. Rhodes University (is a public research university located in Makhanda (Grahamstown). Established in 1904, Rhodes University is the oldest university in the Eastern Cape and has a well-established reputation for high academic standards in teaching and research.
